You mean a woman cycling.
sorry, couldn't resist that:D.

Nice pic- she seems to be looking straight at the camera. I have always wondered about the ethics of street photography- I mean taking pictures of strangers on the street, invasion of privacy etc.etc.. And then I came across an interesting article in the NY times on street photography. It argues that when you are on the street its a public space and so you cannot expect privacy, which means you can take photographs and/or be photographed.People can "politely" object but there is no law to enforce it, although no law does not mean one can be utterly irresponsible! Bottom line- I was glad for the clarifications the article offered.I think street photography is super cool and interesting!

Ok..I am done sharing my 2 cents worth of "gyan" for the day. Sorry to ramble on.

Oh! and I like how the road appears to be sparkling!very cool!

ramble away... no problem. its for a reason this blog is called 'ramblings, rumblings & pictures' !

ever wondered what the papparazzo have to say about the ethics of street photography ?

Straight to the point and well written! Why can't everyone else be like this?

Hi!heard a rumor and I HAD to share. People in the blog-O-sphere are getting impatient with your woman on a cycle image. They are eager for something new.

PS: I suppose the Paparazzi belong to the "utterly irresponsible" category, especially the aggressive kind.
