new racket: birdwatching

modus operandi

1. have binoculars and/or camera
2. go to place which has birds
3. see bird/take picture
4. look up bird in "pocket guide to the birds of the indian subcontinent"
5. study bird details such as plumage description, habitat, migratory habits and taxonomy
6. tick mark bird on list in book
7. feel good :-)

minubhai save me. she is already somewhat in the racket. tilts her head and says, suno, koel bol rahi hai.
have to learn the names of many birds we have sighted before she realises that her mother says dont know to a long list of her questions.

fantastic!..now try "birds of the western ghats and konkan"...really nicely laid out n some very interesting insights n folklore about em birds.
